Our home is centrally located on the island of Elbow Cay, on the Ocean just NORTH of White Sound and the Abaco Inn and East of Firefly Inn. We are in the Middle of it ALL! Southern Cross offers direct beach access - Walk just steps to our beach with beautiful white sand and plush dunes that surround the home. Golf cart rentals are encouraged during your stay as we are on the part of the island that permits golf carts. We are just a little ways down from the 'surf' hot spot of the island. The islands famous Tahiti Beach is just a short golf cart ride away, as is the Hopetown Marina/Lightouse. Southern Cross has the convenience of having Mackays Take out just down the street as well as great resturant options such as Firefly at the Abaco Inn, Cap't Jacks, On da Beach and Hopetown Marina.

We are one of the few Vacation Rental homes on the Island to have 6 King Bedrooms and 6 private baths! Isn't it nice to go on vacation with a few couples or families and have your own private bathroom? Swim in our ocean front 35 foot, salt water pool oasis with an outdoor shower or just relax and lounge in the sunshine and enjoy the ocean breezes! This is not a small splash pool! Our pool has expansive decking and plenty of patio furniture and loungers. There is also an oceanfront decking area perched on top of dunes for additional ocean view enjoyment and entertaining! Our kitchen is fully equipped, and has a large dining table and to accommodate all while dining. Southern Cross boasts multi floor living areas. Also, for your usage are WiFi and Satellite, Direct TV, Stereo equipment, Family Board Games, a large Jenga block game and beach toys. We also offer recreational and fitness options...our front yard has space for outdoor recreation that is Volleyball Court. Of course we also offer central Air conditioning and we do allow our tenants to access our Laundry room - washer and dryer are included for your usage. We have a focused beach chic decor with added professional decorator touches to make this home stand out as a winner.

You know the saying "it's all about the Views?" Well that defines Southern Cross, as there are many ocean views from multiple areas of our home - including views of the Sea of Abaco to the west! Southern Cross is a two story home with decking on both levels. We designed this house for your vacation needs, relax on our multi-level outdoor covered decking. We make it easy to enjoy the ocean views from the living room, dining room, and bedrooms.

The house is two stories of over 3,000 square feet of well designed, free flowing living space. Our home has an eclectic beach decor with a modern spin. Upper Floor features: Kitchen, Living Room, Dining Room, two king bedrooms, two full bathrooms; one with tub/shower, one with stall shower. The upper level houses the Spacious Kitchen designed for a crowd in mind! White Terrazzo stone countertops with deep rich color cabinets. Decorative Pendent lighting, dining room with A great Spacious Wooden table that seats 12+ PLUS we have seating for four more at our counter bar. Available for usage are blender, toaster, Microwave, Water Filtration System, Dish Washer, gas stove and a Side by Side refrigerator with water/ice dispenser...no details are left undone...We also have a propane BBQ for your grilling needs. The living room has panoramic views of Ocean and Sea of Abaco. The living room seating is comfortable and spacious. We have a large sectional sofa that can accommodate 8 - 10 people and a mounted 54 inch Flat Panel Smart TV, which provides Direct TV. Access to the deck is just off the dining room. All of the walls in our home have a coastal, white washed wood paneling and tiled floors throughout. We take pride in providing a clean home. We have NO carpeting...Our entire home is tiled with a flooring that gives the appearance of distressed beach wood... adding to our beach living theme. Lower Floor features: four king bedrooms, four full bathrooms; three with stall showers, one with tub/shower) and laundry area. Each of our six bedrooms have kings beds and their own private bath with designer selected tile and professional decorator's touches. Two of the six bathrooms have full bathtubs with showers and and the other 4 have stall showers. Bedrooms feature designer bedding with white sheets and matlesse comforters, beach themed bright colored throw pillows and all bedrooms rooms have window treatments.

Bookings are a 7 night minimum: January, February: $9,800 per week March, April, May: $12,600 per week June/July: $14,000 per week August, September, October, November (excludes Thanksgiving week): $10,500 per week December (including Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years:) $12,600 per week *Above are weekly rental rates, does not include cleaning, wifi and water/laundry usage charges.

They have re-built their dock space after much devastation from Dorian in 2019. Chris Higgs is running the operation there now and he works for the group out of Charleston who has purchased the spray. It is quite exciting and once it is fully completed, they’re going to have an incredible land based operation, and it will be a positive impact on the island.
